Why treat your pets at home?
It wasn’t that long ago that house calls for both people and pets were the norm. While independent facilities are better equipped to handle emergencies for your animals, treatment for routine and end-of-life care in your home is very sanitary and normal, and many times preferred by both the pet and the owner.
Home veterinary service for your pet is something to consider if:
• You are a pet owner who has difficulty getting around
• You are a pet owner without transportation
• You are a pet owner who doesn’t live near a veterinarian
• Your pet gets nervous and agitated at the vet’s office
• Current COVID-19 protocols upset you, your pet, or both of you
Animals are far more comfortable in their own homes than at the vet’s office.
A more relaxed pet means a better and more thorough exam for your pet.
There’s no travel time to account for and no leaving your pet with a technician while pandemic protocols remain in place.

I’ve had Dr Skilling for my small animals for a long time. She works with you, and I am so grateful for her saving 2 cats from the brink of death. I love that she is making house calls, this is awesome, especially with older animals.
